The Warmth of Winter: A Poem

The Warmth of Winter

Green tea and fuzzies,
Hot cocoa and books;
Snuggling down into
Warm reading nooks.

Snowflakes are falling
Covering the ground;
The perfect weather
For lounging around.

Down by the fireplace,
Glasses of wine,
Sock covered toesies,
A whiff of scotch pine.

Darkness and movies,
Cuddles and kisses;
Coming together and
Sweet reminisces.

The warmth of winter
Lives in our hearts,
Lives in our homes,
And has no counterparts.
