Owlcrate: Wonderland (November)

I subscribed to Owlcrate for the first time this year and I have yet to be disappointed.

In case you don’t know what Owlcrate is, it’s a monthly subscription box for lovers of young adult fiction and bookish merchandise. Every month you receive a specially curated box surrounding a theme. Each box includes a new book and several bookish goodies to enhance your reading experience – plus they’re a lot of fun! Considering the quality and care put into each box, I would say the overall cost is a steal. I pay just under $37.00 including shipping on a month-to-month basis. They also have 3 and 6 month plans to save a little extra.

The theme for the month of November 2016 was Wonderland. Here is my full unboxing!

Curiouser and curiouser. I have admired the work of Authored Adornments for a while now, so when I heard Julie had teamed up with Owlcrate for an exclusive piece, I was ecstatic!

This beautiful bookmark is a perfect addition to Wonderland, featuring the iconic quote.

Prepare for the Mad Hatter’s party with an exclusive tea blend curated specifically for this box by Riddle’s Tea Shoppe and Adagio.

It came in this gorgeous collectable tin and smells of spice and peaches!

Unfamiliar with the original work of Lewis Carroll or need a refresher? This edition was brought to being by the people at Rock Paper Books, with exclusive cover artwork (and matching bookmark) by Risa Rodil.

And finally, the book: an exclusive edition of Heartless by Marissa Meyer, along with a letter from the author and a quote print.

I had a feeling this was going to be the featured book this month, but it’s one I have been anticipating so it was super hard not to buy a copy on release day. Or any trip to the bookstore thereafter (and there were a few!).

I can’t wait to read it and give you a review. It’s on the books (⬅ see what I did there?) for next month, along with several other new-ish releases.
